My teacher asked me and my class a very hard problem for math class. That is " How many grains of rice is in 10 grams". We was divided in groups of 2. First thing we do is we put the cup on the scale, then we start counting each grain of rice while I was putting it in the cup. We keep counting until the scale point to 10 grams. We get to 196 when the scale turns to 10 grams, so we write it down on a cardboard to remember. After that, we take the cup and fill to the top with rice. Next, we weight it. When we get the answer, we try to guess how many cups can fill 1KG. We guessed 5 cups. We multiplied the number that a cup of grain weight with 5 because we guessed 5 cups can fit in a 1KG bag. Ultimately, we time 10 since we need to know how many grains of rice is in a 10KG bag not 1KG bag. We didn't finish which means we didn't get the answer since we didn't had enough time. But there was 2 answers that the others group did is 106,000 and 120,000 grains of rice.
I, myself think that this problem is very important and helpful when we are trying to solve a big problem or a big number question.
